Bad Endorf with its thermal waters and health spas, situated in the heart of the Bavarian Chiemgau, is a place of recreation for both locals and visitors.
Situated nearby is the "Eggstätter Seenplatte" with its many lakes, which is the oldest natural park in Bavaria that offers numerous possibilities for hiking and swimming. Bad Endorf is located very conveniently: Every hour there are trains to "Munich", the capital of Bavaria and "Salzburg" the famous Mozart City in Austria. You can walk from Bad Endorf Train station to the Hotel "Endorfer Hof" in about 8 minutes. Arrival by car: Autobahn (Highway) München Salzburg, Exit Bernau, direction Prien, and then Bad Endorf.
at Kirchplatz 5 in Bad Endorf with 50 rooms was newly renovated and reopened in August 2006. Here one can relax in the beautifully designed restaurants with the scenic "Beer-Garden" and enjoy practicing and dancing in a floodlit winter garden, which is ideal for our dance and theatre workshops. We have negotiated a special room rate for the festival participants: a single room costs 50 EUR, a double 75. EUR. This includes breakfast. Additionally it is possible to order lunch or dinner at a reduced price upon arrival.
The cultural theatre Marias Kino, one of the oldest working movie theatres in Germany, was founded by Maria Stadler shortly after WW II. Today it is managed by a group of young cinema enthusiasts. With its unique atmosphere, it serves not only as a cinema with very good arthouse movies but also as a venue for various kinds of theatreproductions. It has now become a cultural institution in Upper Bavaria. "El Haddawi" staged two dance theatre productions here: "Warrior Soul" and "L´Amour Nomade". Marias Kino is a 5 minute walk from the hotel "Endorfer Hof".
